The second article in the chapter about food and nutrients will be about… Natural Energy Drinks and how to make one ! As you will see in this post, it is very easy to create your own Natural Energy Drink at home.
What you may know is that these Natural Energy Drinks, are very tasty, good for your health and.. for your mood !
This is what the final product of one of my homemade Natural Energy drinks looks like.
The thing with industrial Energy drinks is the large amount of sugar and caffeine that they are adding to their products. It’s a real public health problem.
Here with these homemade drinks, there are only health benefits, and you know what you are drinking as you are adding yourself all the ingredients of your beverage.
You will find more about those benefits after the recipe.
Here are the steps to do what I will call: the Antioxydant-Boosting Energy Drink.
- The required ingredients :
1 Banana, 1 nectarine, a handfull of blueberries, 1 passion fruit, 200 grams (7oz ~ 0.44lbs) of yoghurt 120 ml (4.2 oz) of almond sugarfree milk and.. a teaspoon of.. Chia seeds !
Peel the banana; cut the fruits in half.
Put the 200 grams (7oz ~ 0.44lbs) of yoghurt, at the bottom of your container; then cut the fruits in small parts to ease the mixer work, put only the inside of the passion fruit, add the blueberries and the secret ingredient (Chia seeds).
Don’t forget to add the last ingredient, the 120 ml (4.2 oz) of almond sugarfree milk !
Mix everything, and.. here is the final result ! Enjoy !
Natural Energy Drinks are amazing ! In this case, the Antioxydant-Boosting Energy Drink will boost your energy level for the day and will boost your mood.
